January 1st, at 12:00 a.m., shall be the determining date for the age of the competitor and shall hold true for the Association and National Championships.

In other words, if a girl was born in 1989, she would be eligible to play 16/under in 2006. She will also be able to play if born in 1988 and is a Junior in the 2005-2006 school year.

Any player competing in a specific age division must remain in the same age division throughout the Association qualifying tournament and National level.
