RECAP: AAU Basketball Spring Fling

The weekend of April 12 – 14 marked the beginning of the Disney Classics for AAU boys and girls basketball. 263 teams (boys and girls combined) participated in the three-day tournament at ESPN Wide World of Sports.

ORLANDO, Fla. – The weekend of April 12 – 14 marked the beginning of the Disney Classics for AAU boys and girls basketball. 263 teams (boys and girls combined) participated in the three-day tournament at ESPN Wide World of Sports. Pool play started on Friday, April 12 with 3,472 players with single elimination bracket play on Saturday.
Twenty-two teams were awarded over the weekend, and 11 first-place teams received congratulatory mini basketball hoops.
